You’re not choosing from a row of model homes or a catalog of standard floor plans. You’re creating something built entirely around your life, your tastes, and your vision for the future.
That kind of project deserves a builder who treats it that way.
At ARoy Builders, we are a small, owner-operated company built on craftsmanship, honest communication, and a genuine love for building. We work exclusively on a build-on-your-land model, meaning you own your land and we construct a fully custom home on it, designed around you from the ground up. No set floor plans, no compromises, no shortcuts.
Here is what working with us actually looks like.
We Start Long Before Construction Begins
Most people are surprised by how much happens before a single board is cut. The pre-construction phase is where the foundation of a successful build is laid, and it is where a lot of clients feel most unsure of where to turn.
We guide you through all of it:
- Finding and evaluating land that fits your vision, your budget, and the life you want to build
- Working with architects and engineers to develop plans that are both beautiful and buildable
- Coordinating structural plans, septic design, and site planning
- Building a detailed, realistic budget before you are financially committed
- Securing every permit and approval required to break ground without delay
This phase can feel like a lot to take on alone. With us, you have a partner who has been through it many times and knows exactly what needs to happen, and when.
Complete Project Management, From Start to Keys in Hand
Once construction begins, the number of moving parts multiplies quickly. Subcontractors, material deliveries, inspections, utility coordination, weather, and the unexpected all have to be managed with care. A single lapse in communication or coordination can cost you time and money.
We manage every aspect of your build so that you don’t have to:
- Full construction scheduling across every phase of the project
- Hiring and managing all subcontractors involved
- Ordering and coordinating materials to keep the work moving
- Scheduling and overseeing all required building inspections
- Coordinating directly with your lender as construction milestones are reached
- Consistent site supervision to ensure quality, code compliance, and attention to your specifications
- Proactive problem-solving so small issues are addressed before they become costly ones
We are present and engaged throughout your build. You will always know where things stand, what is coming next, and who to call with a question. Our clients consistently tell us that communication is what made the experience feel manageable. We take that seriously.
We Are Builders, Not Just Managers
A lot of general contractors keep their distance from the hands-on work. We are wired differently. Adam Roy grew up in this trade. His father was a master carpenter, a general contractor, and a United States Marine, a man who built things right and expected the same from everyone around him. Adam carried that forward, spending years as a working carpenter before becoming a GC and personally building dozens of homes.
That background matters on your job site. We understand the craft from the inside out, which means we hold the work to a higher standard and know exactly what to look for as your home takes shape.
One Number. No Surprises.
We price every project as a single, comprehensive lump sum. You will know what you are spending before construction begins, and we will be straightforward with you if anything changes along the way.
Pricing conversations in custom home building can feel uncomfortable. We try to take that discomfort away by being clear, honest, and consistent from the very first conversation. Trust is not a tagline for us. It is how we operate.
Our Relationship Does Not End at Move-In
Every home we build comes with a one-year warranty. We also do a 6-month check-in after you move in to see how everything is holding up and address anything that needs attention.
Most builders hand over the keys and move on. We stay connected because we care about the home we built and the people living in it.
Building With the Land in Mind
ARoy Builders holds a Certified Green Professional designation through the National Association of Home Builders. We source materials locally where possible, incorporate energy-efficient systems, and work with clients interested in solar, including roof-mounted and ground-mounted panels and backup battery systems.
We also plant two trees for every one tree used during construction. It is a small commitment that reflects something larger: a belief that building well means leaving things a little better than you found them.
What Our Clients Tell Us
When clients share their experience working with us, a few things come up time and again: we communicate clearly, we show up when we say we will, we do not cut corners on materials, and we treat the build with the same care we would give our own home.
One retired builder who hired us put it simply: quality comes first, profit second. That is the kind of trust we work to earn on every project.
